Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our commercial roofing service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple service jobs simultaneously. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and business acumen to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of commercial roofing service jobs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability
  • Oversee a team of service technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine appropriate service solutions and prepare detailed proposals
  • Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate job costing and pricing
  • Manage customer relationships, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor and control service department expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of service jobs, including work orders, invoices, and customer communications
  • Analyze service department performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in commercial roofing services
