The position of Electrical Service Apprentice is to assist in achievement of the company’s strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional Electrical service to the customer. To perform services reflective of Hutton’s core values.
Job Responsibilities:
Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, panels, etc..
Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses
Coordinate with utility service providers and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times
Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.
Requirements:
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
2 to 3 years in the electrical trade is a requirement.
Valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.
Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule.
