Job Description

Role: Service Demand Planning Associate
Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full time
Pay: £15-£17 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay) / £19.89-£22.55 per hour UMB (including holiday pay)
Contract: 9-month contract (inside IR35)

The Requirements:

  • A-level education or equivalent, with GCSEs (including English and Maths at grades A-C)
  • \n

  • Experience within a demand planning or scheduling role (desirable)
  • \n

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with high attention to detail
  • \n

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • \n

  • Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • \n

  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
  • \n

  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple enquiries
  • \n

The Role:

    \n
  • Managed demand planning using Rexis (Salesforce) and SAP to ensure resource availability.
  • \n

  • Liaised with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate parts orders and overnight deliveries.
  • \n

  • Scheduled and managed workloads for 20-40 engineers, prioritising based on business needs and site criticality.
  • \n

  • Monitored global parts availability and communicated updates to stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Supported demand-supply balancing across the UK and Ireland, providing analysis and insight for forecasting.
  • \n

  • Maintained high data accuracy within SAP and planning systems.
  • \n

  • Collaborated with Logistics, Technical Service Managers, Sales, and Customer Projects to align capacity and service plans.
  • \n

  • Contributed to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the planning team.
  • \n
