Service Architect\n\n+Current DV Clearance is essential\n\n+On site in Hampshire\n\n+18 months +\n\n+Outside IR35\n\n+£650 - £750 a day \n\nWe're seeking an experienced Service Architect to join a high-profile Ministry of Defence (MOD) programme on a long-term contract.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering secure, resilient, and supportable services within a complex defence environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and develop end-to-end service architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.\nProduce service designs that meet operational, security, and supportability standards.\nWork closely with technical architects, engineering teams, service management, and stakeholders.\nEnsure service transition and operational readiness for new and enhanced services.\nContribute to service governance, risk management, and continual service improvement.\nCreate and maintain service design documentation, operating models, and support processes.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience as a Service Architect within complex enterprise or government environments.\nStrong understanding of IT service design and service management principles.\nExperience working on secure or defence-related programmes.\nAbility to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective service solutions.\nExcellent documentation and communication skills.\nActive DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is mandatory.If you'd like to discuss this Service Architect role in more detail, please send your updated CV to (url removed) and I will get in touch
