Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, technical oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service and Installation Technician. The successful candidate will play an important role in serving our customers by providing elevated services and support during the service steps of their journey with our products and services.

Responsibilities


  • Provide on-site (customer homes) high quality repair services, maintenance, installations, pre-installation visits

  • Effectively diagnose appliances problems and provide repair installing new parts

  • Evaluate parts break-down (Exploded View) to order parts via Spare Parts Department

  • Control spare parts truck stock and

  • Maintain complete service job reports, fulfilling all Corporate Guidelines, for all jobs provided

  • To work with CSR team to schedule services and close all jobs scheduled

  • Create technical reports for specific cases, whenever required by management

  • Participate Corporate and Manufacturers in-person Trainings (Locally or Internationally) twice a year

  • Participate Corporate and Manufacturers virtual Trainings whenever required by management

  • Keep NPS personal score of a minimum of +30

  • Report to the Subsidiary Service Manager, following all guidelines required for this position

Qualifications and Experience


  • Proven 3+ years experience with household appliance repairs with field experience

  • Experience with High-End and Luxury Appliances is

  • Sealed System experience on domestic refrigeration is a plus

  • Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical systems and to read, interpret and utilize Electrical diagrams, technical documents and service manuals.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reassure consumers in stressful situations, with extreme respect and cordiality.

  • Capacity to handle customer complaints and issues with patience and professionalism

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while performing repair activities

  • Willingness to stay updated on product specifications and industry trends by participating on trainings, workshops, webinars

  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strictly follow all safety and manufacturers protocols in the Services and Installations

  • Knowledgeable about electrical and electronic circuits

  • Knowledge of Hand/Power Tools

Education and Additional Requirements


  • Technical Degree in Electrical, Electronic or a related field is .

  • Residential Appliance Technician Certification (NASTeC) or General Electrician License is but not required.

  • Need a valid drivers license and clean driving history

  • Holding a valid Passport, to be able to travel to participate in trainings abroad will be

Physical Requirements


  • Drive for 2+ hours/day

  • Lift up to 50lbs

  • Constant bending, kneeling

  • Standing for long periods of time (8+ hours)



  • English bilingual proficiency mandatory

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese bilingual proficiency
