o The SPE will be the primary contact in the entire estimating process on content and scope of each estimate they produce in Waterproofing.

o Help manage process with Project Estimators on the team.

o Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions, change order management and association involvement (on committees within associations).

o As the SPE they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish. This includes coordinating and leading client education and client meetings.

o Must have a specific understanding of construction process for new construction and remedial projects within the scope of work (codes, wind uplift pressures, thermal and moisture intrusion, materials, and methods, etc.)

Position Requirements

Experience: If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience with at least five (5) years of estimating experience

Skills: Estimating software proficiency, Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual

Abilities/Requirements:

1. Must meet all requirements of PE-II

2. Ability to interpret, understand and train others on construction documents

3. Understand specific construction items (as listed in Job Description)

4. Exceptional written and oral communication skills

5. Problem solving and dispute resolution skills

6. Strong work ethic/self-starter

7. Advanced negotiation and relationship building skills (has current client base)

8. Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin

9. Strong time management skills (able to help manage employees and projects)

10. Must have a valid driver's license

11. Must be authorized to work in the United States

12. Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)

Education Required:

Four-year college degree or five (5) years construction experience with at least two (2) years of estimating experience

Reports to

Estimating Manager or General Manager/Vice President of Market
