Job Summary
The Warehousing Logistics and Distribution Supervisor is a non-exempt full-time position encompassing traditional shipping and receiving responsibilities as well as daily warehouse operations to fulfill customer orders with priority towards strong teamwork and excellent customer service. This position reports to the Finance and Logistics Manager. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys learning and contributing as part of a dynamic growing company.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate control of inventory.
- Ensure the safety of the facility, plan and conduct necessary safety training and compliance w/ government mandated operations of the facility’s equipment/environment.
- Works with our worldwide team to provide shipping, receiving, warehouse planning & operations, control and order fulfillment along w/ integration and development of new logistical services and technology deployment.
- Receiving functions: Unload incoming shipments and Identify and verify materials and quantities (parts and finished products) and against receiving documents.
- Enter incoming materials into ERP / Inventory Control System.
- Continual redefine incoming order management process and training of staff on correct/updated procedures.
- Respond to Spares inquiries and provide availability and pricing to customers
- Work with Technical Support Engineers as required to clarify Spares requests
- Customer order processing
- Entering orders into (ERP system)
- Inventory transactions, cycle verification work, & process management technology
- Pick, Pack and Ship Orders
- Coordinate Shipping as required
- Daily Coordination with supply chain personnel in Sweden, UK, and Latvia
- Liaison with PDF Print Partners and Dealers regarding normal delivery and order matters as well as leading all irregular issue communication & follow-up.
- Perform inventory audits as required
- Establishing and maintaining records, such as stock lists, inventory with a high attention to detail
- Unloading and storing incoming supplies and equipment
- Experienced in Fork Lift operation (licensed preference) with a priority on safety
- Maintaining stock locations and administering control procedures
- Work on refining all warehouse SOPs needed to operate the PDF, Inc. storage facility safely, profitably, and according to company guidelines.
- Order receiving and processing
- Preparing, annotating, and distributing shipping documents
- Equipment shipping coordination with Dealers and OEM Partners
- Inventory supply/demand coordination with Finance and Logistics Manager who will coordinate with international operations
- Data Input and simple reporting using M3 ERP system
Requirements
- 5+ years of Domestic & International shipping, receiving, warehouse, and logistics experience, required.
- Detail oriented
- Prior experience leading, mentoring others in warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, .
- Excellent communications skills with internal multinational team and external customers
- Experienced in the use of shipping using FEDEX, DHL, UPS, DHL and US Postal shipping software and processes, required.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks based on dynamic business needs
- Experience working w/ customs and shipping brokers planning, securing, monitoring pickups/deliveries within NA and overseas
- Experience managing shipping carrier services: full container and partial load management. Familiar w/ carrier service agreements, negotiating carrier service agreements, and managing those relationships.
- Experience w/ warehouse management technology deployments
- Knowledge of computer-based creative tools such as Microsoft office
- Able to use of ERP system, prior experience required.
- Ability to provide SPARES support using ERP and product documentation
- Experience using windows-based applications such as word and excel to receive process and distribute product and spare parts orders and report information.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Excellent Customer relationship skills
- Valid Driver’s License
