About Us:
Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.
About the role:
As a Senior Valve Technician, you’ll play a critical role in assembling and testing precision valves used in aerospace applications. You’ll work in a cleanroom environment and state-of-the-art testing facilities, ensuring each product meets rigorous customer specifications and industry standards. This role offers direct involvement in shaping our production capabilities and future investments.
The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA.

What You’ll Do:
Your day-to-day will vary based on production needs, but typical responsibilities include:
- Assembling valves in a Class 10K cleanroom
- Performing functional and pressure testing using advanced instrumentation
- Following detailed assembly and test procedures, job travelers, and customer specifications
- Communicating directly with customers regarding test results and valve status
- Supporting continuous improvement and capital investment decisions for assembly and testing
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience assembling and testing valves
- Proficiency with process instrumentation and tools (impact wrenches, hand tools, forklifts, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and customer specifications
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent (required under ITAR regulations)
Nice to Haves
- Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing interactions
- Interest in contributing to process optimization and facility upgrades
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $32.00-45.00 per hour. Commensurate with candidate experience.
- Shift Differentials on night and weekend shifts
- Schedule: Days: M-F’s 5/8 shift available or Nights: M-Th’s 4/10 shift available
