Senior Truss Designer (in person, hybrid or remote)

We're seeking a senior truss designer to join our growing team. This designer should have at least 8 years experience working with Mitek design software to design both roof and floor trusses for a variety of construction projects, but the more experience the better. The position can be in person (at either of locations in Stockton, CA or Mound House, NV), remote or hybrid. 

The candidate should have extensive prior experience designing all of the following project types:

• Custom homes
• Tract homes
• Multi family apartment buildings
• Commercial projects (hotels, fast casual restaurants, etc.)

Candidate should be comfortable interfacing directly with customers to answer their questions, provide design inputs and recommendations and advise on project timelines. This position reports directly to our design manager and will be a critical senior member of the design team, helping to mentoring and coach entry to mid level designers within the organization. Experience with estimating and sales is also a plus, but not a requirement. Compensation will be based on experience as well as thoroughness and speed of design. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
