Senior Transport Planner\n\n Birmingham\n\n Due to growth, my client is looking for a Senior Level Transport Planner to join their team in the Birmingham office.\n\n The team has developed and grown to a wide-range of projects and clients that cover a diverse set of schemes all across the UK, which includes Residential, Retail and Education. This would help the workload from the Bristol and Birmingham offices.\n\n The role:\n\n You will be:\n\nWorking on and Managing complex Transport Planning Projects\nTaking lead on the development and delivery of the Projects\nWorking on the promotion of development sites from Site Identification/acquisition, plus planning applications, submission and discharge of planning conditions\nYou would be working alongside the Transport Directors to deliver top of the range Consultancy Advice, liaising and getting a firm understanding of Clients Requirements and to effectively manage resources.\n\n You will be helping support and mentor more junior staff as well as continuing your Project Management and commercial skills.\n\n Ideally, you would have a firm understanding on Transport Planning Policy and Delivery of projects to clients. You will have a Degree within a related subject and ideally a Master’s Degree in Transport.\n\n Experience wise, you would need to demonstrate:\n\nExperience with Transport Statements, Assessments and Travel Plans\nParking Strategies, Sustainable Transport, Section 278 and 106 agreements and guidance such as NPPF\nUse of the TRICS database\nWorking use of PICADY and ARCADY, as well as an understanding of LINSIG\nTransport Modelling, and why this is useful\nJunction design (Roundabout, Signals)\nSo why join?\n\n This role comes with a great package:\n\nSalary (DOE) £35,000-£50,000\nContractual Bonus Scheme\n7% Employer Pension Contribution\n26 Days Holiday plus 3 additional days to cover the Christmas Period, plus bank holidays\nPrivate Health Insurance and Life Assurance for all employees\nAgile and Flexible working
