Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to lead the creation and automation of software tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of applications that support a forensic and investigative ecosystem. This role is crucial for developing complex test strategies, performing advanced testing, and providing root-cause guidance for issues in a multi-enclave environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of testing in secure environments and have demonstrated experience leading testing efforts for complex applications.
Senior Test Engineer Job Duties:

Create software tests and automate test cases for enterprise applications.

Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues.

Write and initiate tests and analyze and report test results in the ticketing system.

Perform configuration management, change management, and release management.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.

Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures.

Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.

Identify and document problems, providing guidance on root-cause and remediation.

Support the presentation and formal review of test results.

Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.

Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements.
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.
Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Candidates must have experience with the SAFe Agile framework, a strong understanding of testing in secure environments, and demonstrated experience leading testing efforts for complex applications.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Advanced proficiency with complex test planning and strategy development, advanced test automation frameworks, integration testing, security testing, and performance and load testing is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with Jira, Confluence, DevSecOps practices, GitLab, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S), database testing, API testing, and SAFe Agile. Status: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
