Onshape by PTC is the world's first and most widely adopted cloud- CAD and PDM platform for professional mechanical design engineers. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join the Onshape Technical Services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and proven experience in managing complex sales engagements and delivering impactful product demonstrations.

This position requires close collaboration with a dynamic sales team to support new customer acquisition and drive growth within existing accounts in partnership with the Customer Success team. A comprehensive understanding of engineering applications—including CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, and FEA—is essential, along with the ability to clearly articulate Onshape's unique value propositions. You will play a pivotal role in introducing a next- product design platform to a broader market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expert-level proficiency in all Onshape products.
• Partner with the sales team to navigate complex sales engagements and deliver tailored, high-quality product demonstrations.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, addressing inquiries from customers and prospects.
• Create technical content to support product marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the development team to communicate and prioritize customer-driven feature requests.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and professional skills.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in engineering software such as CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, and FEA.
• Proven experience delivering impactful product demonstrations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Fluency in German and English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills; additional are advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in an engineering role or within an engineering software organization.
