We are looking for a dedicated and motivated professional to join us as a Senior Linux System Engineer, driving the development and optimization of our server and service infrastructure both on-premise and in the cloud.
If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and love creating innovative solutions, we look forward to receiving your application!#Your TasksEnsure the smooth and reliable operation of the Drooms platform and supporting infrastructureManage and optimize Linux-based systems across on-premise and cloud environmentsOperate and further develop infrastructure automation systems (e.g., Puppet, Ansible)Support infrastructure as code initiatives using configuration management and automation toolsMonitor and maintain system reliability, performance, and securityManage networking components and ensure connectivity and availabilitySupport DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitLab or similar)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and support product developmentMaintain clear and up-to-date system documentation, SOPs, and architectural diagrams#Your Profile7+ years of experience in Linux systems administrationStrong knowledge of infrastructure automation (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or AzureFamiliarity with networking administration and troubleshootingUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of data systems and tools is a plusStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellenceVery good knowledge of German (at least C1) and fluent English – our daily working #Our BenefitsLiving our values- Drooms is committed to support our employees the best way we can and from the very first day.
