Qualis LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an upcoming opportunity to be an integral member of our well rounded team in Orlando, FL.

Duties:

• Member of Government program Enterprise Engineering Team
• Designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
• Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems.
• Directs overall system level testing.
• Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
• Prepares detailed specifications for programs.
• Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
• Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
• Identifies the program Technical Architecture Configuration Incidents and ensures they are assigned a version IAW a provided Information Technology Services Management Implementation Guide (ITSM IG)
• Assigns each Configuration Incident (CI) a unique name and number IAW the ITSM IG and determines when changes must be made to these
• Identifies and manages CIs
• Ensures external component (hardware or software) use is understood, analyzed, and properly managed
• Negotiates Configuration Management (CfM) involvement with external stakeholders and captures these in MOA/MOUs as required
• Coordinates the creation of CCPs
• Generates CCPs in accordance with this ITSM IG
• Requests information and impacts from the RM team/Integrator for changes as required
• Ensures proper relationships are established between all data in the Configuration Management System
• Reviews products delivered by vendors and/or Contractor/Integrators to ensure all necessary information has been provided and that the product was developed in accordance with established requirements and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or engineer, software engineering
• Must have at least 7 to 10 years of experience
• Must have a DoD Secret security clearance
