Position Description:

Banner Defense is in search of an amazingly talented Senior Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. You will be focused on requirements definition, elaboration and verification in support of Missile Defense framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) software development to include software containerization development. Your work will involve interaction between the Government and Prime Contractors in support of MDA's M&S and integration and test programs and you may be asked to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work, as well as to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review Framework, RepBox and CTM requirements and diagrams
• Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents
• Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements
• Actively participate in Framework, RepBox and CTM Program Increment Planning activities
• Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization
• Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc
• Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of Framework, RepBox and CTM System Engineering processes within the organization

Required Skills/Experience:

• Masters in STEM with 12+ years' experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects OR
• Bachelors in STEM with 20+ years' experience working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• Experience in model and simulation development
• Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications
• Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
• Experience in model and simulation requirements development
• Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Travel may be required

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models
• Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects
• Experience with missile defense system and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering
