Position Function:

Common Services Architecture (CSA) encapsulates the technology platforms, models, services, data domains, and resources that interconnect Central Pacific Bank's digital estate. Reporting to the Director of Common Services Architecture, the Senior Systems Analyst will participate in the development, deployment, and management of integration technology platforms and applications that support digital transformation and enablement across the enterprise.

Performs all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner that is expressly aligned with the Company's Core Values of approaching all actions with a “Voyaging Spirit” and being “Positively Ohana”. Primary Accountabilities:

  • System Development and Deployment
    1. Perform technical system planning, in-depth analysis, and implementation of solutions in Common Services Architecture technology areas.
    2. Develop and operationalize processes, services, workflows, and applications that deliver integration capabilities for internal business teams and external partners.
    3. Develop visual prototypes and proposals to articulate business needs.
    4. Develop automated testing and validation processes for code deployment through Dev, QA, and Production environments.
    5. Build data integration models and mappings across enterprise data sources and applications.
    6. Build data and object stores to support integration applications.
    7. Participate in the CSA DevOps practice for continuous delivery of application packages.
    8. Identify and recommend new tools and platforms that meet the requirements of a diverse and evolving pipeline of requests and use cases.
  • System and Application Administration: Across the infrastructure, platforms, and applications that comprise the Common Services Architecture technology portfolio:
    1. Perform system administration and maintenance for production and non-production environments.
    2. Maintain security configuration standards and protocols.
    3. Monitor and manage system performance and availability.
  • Business Analysis
    1. In collaboration with business and technical SMEs and stakeholders, elicit, translate, and prioritize requirements into design and development specifications.
    2. Provide integration technology consultation and guidance to business units.
    3. Document requirements and impacts from a process flow perspective.
    4. Maintain repositories of technical requirements, use cases, and system documentation to ensure compliance with government, regulatory, and audit expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training .

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in of experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications and solutions as a systems analyst, system developer, or technical business analyst required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
