Job Title:  Senior Systems Analyst

Location:  Jersey City, NJ

Main Skills: Systems Analyst, trade capture systems (derivatives, loans), business and functional requirements documentation, workflow design, technical configuration, data analysis, integrating business systems

Job Responsibilities

·         The senior systems analyst will work as part of the technology team responsible for supporting the banks Trade Capture systems. The SSA will work closely with our key business areas (Member Services, Capital Markets, Bank Operations, Financial Accounting) in defining enhancements to our systems and then working to develop and implement these enhancements.

·         This team recently implemented a consolidated trade capture system for the bank's key trading products (Advances, Debt, Derivatives). This system was delivered utilizing a vendor trading system (ETS) with a configurable UI. The SSA will need to be trained on our implementation of this ETS system and how to enhance functionality using the ETS configuration UI.

·         Quick Learner - Ability to quickly learn and understand our business processes (trade capture) and our application that supports this business process.

·         Business & Technical Analysis - Ability to work with business to analyze their needs and translate into technical requirements (using JIRA would be a plus),

·         Contractor will be working on our trade capture system so they should have experience working in financial services. Experience with processing of various trading product (Loans, Bonds, Derivatives) would be a big plus.

·         Technical Configurations - Ability to learn and perform UI technical configurations to support business/technical requirements.

·         Highly skilled in project management techniques and one or more Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies.

Position Experience

·         Two to four years related experience including a solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle.

·         Skilled in writing technical documentation, assessments, specifications, and design documentation.

·         Skilled in data analysis, data integration mapping, and data migration; strong understanding in Data Extraction, Translation, and Load (ETL) Processes.

·         Experience supporting the design and development of Integrated Business Systems, multi-tiered client/server applications, and distributed applications.

·         Skilled in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of vendor supplied solutions
