Type: Contract, W2 only

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Tucson, AZ

Pay: $48/hr-$75/hr, DOE

A leading Global Biotech Company is seeking a Software Tester who has a great end-to-end perspective of software and instrument testing, or a Systems Engineer who focused on software testing.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with systems engineers in the System ART (Agile Release Train) to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities. They would also support integration testing activities.
• Develop comprehensive testing plans.
• Execute hands-on execution of test protocols.
• Author detailed technical reports.
• Manage the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in engineering technology.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing for hardware-integrated systems.
• Experience in an FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal.
