Senior Support Engineer in Tulsa
Job DescriptionJob Description
Bottom line:
We're looking for a Support Engineer who likes being in front of customers and solving problems in person. This role spends much of the week onsite at client offices across the Tulsa metro, leading project work and serving as the escalation point for our service desk. When frontline engineers hit a wall, you step in, resolve the issue, and make sure the customer knows they're taken care of. You'll often be the face of NSN for our clients, so a strong customer presence matters as much as technical skill.
What you'll do:
- Work onsite at client locations on a regular basis, building relationships with key contacts and becoming a trusted, familiar face for their teams.
- Plan and execute technical projects, including server and workstation deployments, network and firewall upgrades, Microsoft 365 migrations, and office moves.
- Act as the primary escalation point for the Service Desk team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across desktops, servers, and networks, both onsite and remotely.
- Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and security configurations.
- Communicate project status, timelines, and outcomes clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Document fixes, project work, processes, and knowledge articles to strengthen the service desk team.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to continuously improve service delivery.
What you bring:
- Strong technical background in Microsoft Windows environments and the Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and general networking (firewall, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP).
- Proven experience delivering IT projects from planning through completion, including scoping work, coordinating schedules, and closing out cleanly.
- A professional, confident presence with customers. You're comfortable walking into a client's office, talking with business owners and end users alike, and representing the company well.
- Excellent people skills: calm under pressure, patient with end users, and confident guiding junior team members.
- Strong troubleshooting methodology and the ability to resolve issues independently.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the Tulsa metro.
- Prior MSP or IT service desk experience strongly .
Why join us:
- Be part of an award-winning Managed IT Provider with over 14 years in business.
- Work in a culture that values teamwork, accountability, and creating a "WOW" experience for customers.
- Get variety in your work, with a mix of hands-on project delivery, onsite client support, and escalation troubleshooting.
- Grow your career in advanced security, cloud, and compliance services.
- Competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training.
