With a strong reputation across multiple sectors including commercial, education, heritage and residential, the company is recognised for its commitment to improving communities and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

We are now looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to help deliver complex and impactful projects, particularly within commercial, and residential sectors.

Role Overview

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will provide expert technical guidance across a range of projects, ensuring client requirements are met from inception through to completion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective structural solutions and coordinate design packages across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leaders to achieve monthly income targets
• Support the promotion of the consultancy’s structural engineering services
• Design practical and economically viable structural solutions, interpreting architectural concepts
• Manage project scopes, client briefs, cost planning and deliverables
• Monitor project progress, variations and financial performance
• Build and maintain strong client and design team relationships
• Undertake structural surveys and produce detailed technical reports
• Contribute to proposals and support bids for new work
• Champion BIM and 3D design/drawing best practice within the team

Essential Experience and Skills

• MEng or BEng degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or Actively working towards Chartership and IPD with IStructE or ICE
• Strong knowledge of building construction, regulations and relevant legislation
• Design experience using Eurocodes (concrete, steel, etc.)
• Experience on projects with values ranging from £250k to £10m
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
