About the Company

Our client is a well-established and growing structural engineering consultancy based in Berkshire, with excellent transport links into London. They’ve built a strong reputation for delivering complex, million-pound-plus residential and commercial developments.

Despite being a mid-sized practice, they consistently secure and deliver projects often associated with larger firms. Their expertise spans load-bearing masonry, reinforced concrete frames and structural steel structures, with engineers involved from concept design through to detailed delivery.

Following continued growth and recent hires at graduate and intermediate level, they’re now looking to strengthen their senior team.

The Role

We’re supporting our client in the search for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a key hire for the business.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects while acting as the link between senior leadership and junior engineers playing a pivotal part in both technical delivery and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of structural projects across RC, steel and masonry schemes

• Manage client relationships and attend meetings as a confident, outward-facing representative

• Mentor and support graduate and intermediate engineers

• Oversee technical design, drawings and coordination with architects and contractors

What You Bring

• 5–10 years of structural engineering experience

• Strong design capability in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry

• Confident communicator with client-facing experience

• Chartered status (or working towards)

Bonus: Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers
