As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of submarine construction. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

- Conducting analysis and designing complex structures in line with Eurocodes, British Standards, and BAE standards.
- Applying your expertise in regulations that go beyond BAE Systems, including LOLER, Codes of Compliance, and Weld Specifications.
- Utilizing advanced analytical methods such as finite element analysis and CAD modeling (Abaqus, S-Frame).
- Supporting the manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation of submarine structures and components.
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment by leveraging your knowledge of facility and site constraints.
- Assisting in the development of concept drawings and technical deliverables, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets.

\n \n Your Skills and Experience:\n
Essential:
\n
- \n
- BEng/MEng in Engineering or equivalent, or HND with extensive experience in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering.
- Experience in Hand Analysis and Design Techniques, including Report Writing.
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering, structural steelwork, and lifting handling (LOLER).

Desirable:

- Experience in a production environment, particularly in marine production.
- Familiarity with ABAQUS, S-Frame, MathCAD, and Excel.
