The Role\n
\nAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will join an award-winning engineering consultancy in their London office on a hybrid basis. This role will involve working on projects with a range of materials and in several sectors.\n
\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

\n
• Take the lead in structural engineering projects

\n

• Successfully communicate with contractors, clients, architects, and other colleagues

\n

• Work on many different-sized projects, dealing with design through to completion

\n

• Look after and produce drawings, specifications, and reports

\n

• Review others' designs and ensure they are up to the required technical standards

\n

• Be in attendance for site inspections, design meetings, and progress reviews

\n

• Help junior team members by training and assisting them in developing

\n

• Attend in-house team meetings, inputting relevant information and knowledge where required

\n

• Ensure budgets are observed, ensuring any risks and resources are managed accordingly

About You\n
\n
\n

\n
• At least 5-8 years of post-graduation experience in Structural engineering

\n

• Qualified to MEng or above and be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership

\n

• Have excellent knowledge of construction methods and UK codes

\n
