Job Description
Senior Structural Engineer\n\nLocation: Shoreditch\n\nOur client is a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy known for delivering integrated, sustainable solutions across the built environment. With a strong presence throughout the UK, they are dedicated to creating a workplace that fosters collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as technical lead on structural engineering projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nManage and coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.\n\nUndertake structural assessments and inspections of new and existing buildings in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.\n\nCarry out structural analysis and design using industry software such as Tekla Structural Designer and Fastrak Building Designer.\n\nPrepare high-quality technical reports, including structural surveys and condition assessments.\n\nOversee the delivery of design outputs including calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.\n\nMentor junior engineers, fostering technical development and knowledge sharing across the team.\n\nAbout You\n\nEssential:\n\nDegree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).\n\nChartered or working towards Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).\n\nProven experience delivering structural designs across a variety of building types and construction methods.\n\nStrong working knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and relevant building regulations.\n\nProficient in structural analysis and design software.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCapable of managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
