Senior Structural Engineer\n\nWarwick \n\nFirst People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer known for delivering complex, high-hazard projects across sectors including Power, Life Sciences, Defence and Aviation. Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to work on genuinely challenging projects that go beyond typical consultancy work, within a business recognised for its stability and strong, supportive culture.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDelivering structural design on smaller projects or key elements of larger schemes\nPreparing and checking calculations, models, drawings and specs in line with UK standards\nCarrying out detailed analysis using industry software and supporting project progress updates\nAssisting with bids, scopes and introducing practical, buildable and sustainable solutions\nSupporting and mentoring junior engineers \n\nRequirements:\n\nChartered Structural Engineer (CEng or IStructE)\nProven experience delivering structural design on complex buildings or infrastructure projects\nSolid technical capability in steel, concrete, timber and masonry, including foundation design and structural assessments (dynamic/seismic experience beneficial)\nProficient in tools such as Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD, Robot or Tedds\nExperienced working within multidisciplinary teams, with knowledge of BIM and Navisworks\nGood understanding of CDM regulations and structural safety, with CSCS card, SC clearance eligibility and a full UK driving licence \n\nNext Steps\n\nPlease apply online with your most up-to-date CV, and a member of our team will be in touch for a confidential chat.\n\nWe'll take the time to understand your goals, ambitions, and long-term career plans to ensure this role and others align with your aspirations.\n\nFrom initial discussions through to offer and placement, we'll support you throughout the entire recruitment process.
