In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of standout residential and commercial projects, making a tangible impact on the built environment.\n\nFrom concept through to completion, you’ll work on a diverse range of developments while advancing your expertise and growing your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\nFlexible working arrangements\n\t\nPerformance-based bonus scheme\n\t\nProfessional chartership support\n\t\nOngoing training and development opportunities\n\t\nEmployer pension contributions\n\t\nPaid overtime\n\t\nInterest-free travel loans\n\nThe role:\n\nLead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes at every stage.\n\t\nDeliver projects across industrial, residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors, meeting Building Regulations and industry standards.\n\t\nCollaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop well-coordinated design solutions.\n\t\nEnsure projects are completed on time and within budget, upholding the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.\n\t\nUndertake structural inspections and assessments of new and existing properties, applying expertise in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.\n\t\nCarry out structural analysis and design using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds), producing accurate drawings, reports, and technical outputs.\n\t\nPrepare clear, professional documentation including structural survey reports and design deliverables.\n\t\nMentor and support junior engineers, fostering growth and contributing to team development.\n\nWhat you’ll need to succeed:\n\nProven ability to manage projects independently, from concept through to delivery.\n\t\nStrong technical knowledge of both new-build and refurbishment structures.\n\t\nExperience working with a variety of materials: steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.\n\t\nA supportive approach to mentoring junior engineers and technicians.\n\t\nProactive, hands-on mindset with a passion for high-quality structural design.\n\t\nExcellent communication skills, with confidence working alongside clients, architects, and contractors.\n\t\nProficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, or similar).\n\t\nChartered (IStructE or ICE), or close to achieving chartership with clear progress.\n\t\nDegree-qualified (MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent)
