Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: £48,000, £55,000

Location: Bristol

This is a consultancy that consistently delivers across a wide range of sectors and has a brilliant reputation in the Bristol market.

About the role:

You’ll be joining an established structural team, working on a variety of building projects including commercial developments, residential schemes, education, and healthcare. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a senior role within a supportive, technically strong environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the structural design on building projects across multiple sectors
• Managing small project teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Attending design team and client meetings
• Producing detailed calculations, reports, and drawings
• Working closely with architects, contractors, and other consultants

Required skills and experience:

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or working towards chartership (CEng, MIStructE or ICE)
• Strong experience in building structures design using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
• Familiar with relevant design software (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla, Robot, etc.)
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
