Job DescriptionSenior Structural Design EngineerBirchwood, WarringtonPermanentJoin a Growing Engineering ConsultancyWe've got a great opportunity with a dynamic and ambitious design consultancy specialising in Temporary Works solutions across infrastructure, construction, buildings and heavy industry sectors.The RoleAs a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality temporary works and structural engineering solutions for a diverse client base.Key responsibilities include:Temporary works design in accordance with BS5975 and EurocodesDesign and assessment of steel and reinforced concrete structuresTemporary propping and support systemsExcavation support designFacade retention schemesDemolition sequencing and structural stability assessmentsProduction and review of calculations, drawings and reportsLeading projects and managing client relationshipsSite visits and technical support during construction phasesMentoring junior engineers where appropriateAbout YouWe're keen to speak with engineers from a range of backgrounds.You could be:A Structural or Civil Engineer with 2-3+ years' Temporary Works experienceA Senior Engineer with 7+ years' structural design experience from infrastructure, energy, bridge or major civil engineering projectsWorking towards Chartership or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE)You'll also have:A Civil or Structural Engineering degreeStrong knowledge of relevant design standards and codesExperience producing structural calculations and technical reportsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative teamWhat's On Offer?Private Medical InsurancePension SchemeHybrid working after probationEmployee mentoring programmeSick payOn-site parkingGenuine career progression within a growing consultancyOpportunity to work on major infrastructure and construction projectsIf you're looking for a role where your expertise will have a direct impact and you can help shape the future of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.Company InformationAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
