Tillman Fiber Holdings is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the continued development, optimization, and administration of our Sitetracker (Salesforce) platform within the Business Systems team. This hybrid role combines Salesforce administration and development responsibilities. The Senior Solutions Engineer will serve as a critical bridge between technical execution and business strategy across our engineering, construction, and finance functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where architecture, scalability, and initiative are key. This individual will play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable business solutions while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Leadership
- Own and evolve the Sitetracker (Salesforce) platform architecture to ensure stability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead administration, configuration, and low-code development (Flows, validation rules, permissions, record automation).
- Contribute to declarative and programmatic development (Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL) as needed.
Stakeholder Management & Business Analysis
- Partner with business owners and department leads to gather, document, and refine system requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions with clear documentation and communication.
- Act as the technical liaison for cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring alignment between business users, development teams, and integration partners.
Project & Workstream Ownership
- Manage technical backlog and work prioritization in coordination with leadership and other system admins.
- Participate in sprint planning and oversee Jira task tracking for system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Support change management processes and coordinate testing and deployment cycles.
Integrations & Data Architecture
- Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between Sitetracker, NetSuite, and other enterprise systems.
- Design data models and flows that support complex operational reporting needs.
- Contribute to data integrity initiatives, audits, and governance processes.
User Enablement & Support
- Train and support end users, power users, and external vendors on platform functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process guides, and release notes.
- Provide Tier 2–3 support and mentorship for junior admins or cross-functional teammates.
Qualifications:
Required
- 4–8 years of experience in Salesforce platform administration and/or development (Sitetracker experience strongly ).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security model, data architecture, and automation tools.
- Proven success in gathering and translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL processes, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independently driving work to completion.
- Experience in telecom or fiber infrastructure industries.
- Experience leading administration and development efforts within Sitetracker.
- Familiarity with agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Exposure to NetSuite or other ERP integrations.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Developer) strongly .
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Success Measures (First 6–12 Months):
- Improved system reliability and user satisfaction across departments.
- Delivered automation and reporting solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Successful completion of at least one cross-system integration or architectural improvement.
- Documented platform standards and governance processes for the Business Systems team.
- Established trust with department heads and vendor partners as the go-to technical leader for Sitetracker.
