Senior Solar Project Manager

Job Description

Role OverviewA senior solar engineer is responsible for designing and implementing large-scale solar energy projects. This involves working closely with the project development team to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Design utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects, focusing on project development support.Utilize industry-standard software to progress technical design work from preliminary to detailed levels in line with project development maturity.Optimize layouts and yields based on constraint analysis.Ensure designs comply with industry codes and standards and incorporate feedback from construction, operations, and development teams.Support the preparation of post-construction documentation.Provide expertise during project development and implementation, both remotely and on-site.Support and lead technical due diligence activities. Foster optimal cooperation within the renewables department, including developers, engineers, project managers, contract managers, and external partners.Engage in strong stakeholder management activities both internally and externally.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, renewable energy, or related field).Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery.Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems.Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities.Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Business fluency in English (other are an advantage).What We OfferA supportive working culture that promotes creativity and innovation.Flexible working arrangements, including home office equipment.
