Job Description
Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with a global presence. We are seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to provide support to the Electrical team. This activity is mainly remote based and will require travel to our client’s Preston facility.
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Senior Software Integration Engineer to lead the integration of embedded software systems in commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in ECU integration, automotive communication tools, and proactive issue resolution skills to support on-time product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the software integration activities including the documentation, diagnostics and validation across several ECUs.
- Liase with system owners to understand when softwares are available and plan the V&V activities with the Vehicle test team which include HiL, bench and vehicle testing
- Perform software flashing and calibration using tools such as , and J1939/J1979/UDS-based tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve software integration and communication issues.
- Support Vehicle Test Team with testing in HIL, SIL, and vehicle environments
- Use tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer
- Identify and address potential integration or testing issues early in the development cycle to minimize risks to release timelines.
- Track and manage issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Needs to be on-site when necessary

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in automotive software integration and embedded systems.
· Strong experience in software flashing, automotive testing, root cause analysis, and release risk mitigation.
· Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
· Hands-on experience with CANoe/CANalyser, .dbc files, and ARXML files.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Must be an excellent communicator .
Full UK or equivalent driving license required.
