Software Engineer (TS/SCI) – Springfield, VA

Are you a seasoned Software Engineer looking to work on mission-critical applications supporting security initiatives? We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join a cutting-edge Agile software factory delivering cloud- applications, advanced analytics, automation solutions, and data-driven capabilities across multiple security domains.

Location: Springfield, VA

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Employment Type: Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud- applications and data-centric solutions.
• Build scalable applications using Python and React.
• Develop and deploy solutions within AWS environments.
• Work with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and containerized architectures.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.
• Integrate, process, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
• Support projects ranging from rapid prototypes to long-term production systems.

AWS Cloud Development Experience

Python Development Experience

React or Modern JavaScript Framework Experience

Kubernetes and/or OpenShift Experience

CI/CD & DevSecOps Experience

Agile Development Experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Education & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Master's Degree + 13 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree + 15 years of relevant experience
• 17 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
