We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and take our technology and your career into new territories! MBDA is a great a place to learn about the company's entire product portfolio, whilst embracing the change to DevOps and other innovative technologies!\n\nSalary: £40,000-£75,000 depending on experience\n\nLocation: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)\n\nDynamic (hybrid) working: Typically for this role you will work 3-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.\n\nSecurity Clearance: British or a Dual UK with British citizenship\n\nRestrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.\n\nWhat we can offer you:\nCompany bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)\nPension: Maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%\nOvertime: opportunity for paid overtime\nFlexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days\nEnhanced parental leave: offers up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave.

And, in a collaborative and close-knit culture, we support each other to search for better.\n\nJoin us as an Senior Software Engineer and take our technology and your career into new territories!\n\nYou will be responsible for designing and developing Test equipment software to test the world leading and Complex missile systems and sub-components.\n\nWhat we're looking for from you:\nPrevious software engineering experience in the development of test solutions\n\nStrong ability to write software in C / C++; scripting would be an advantage to our future direction.\n\nPrevious experience working in an agile development team.\n\nA strong understanding of what is required to create high quality software and the ability to support quality practices\n\nA good understanding of automation, continuous integration and DevOps principles and practices\n\nKnowledge of electronics measurement and debug techniques using equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers\nOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given\n\nMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
