Job Description

Together with our partner a leading European technology group in the greater Stuttgart area we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on C.

In this position you will design the technical architecture and foundation of the entire software landscape. You will combine state-of-the-art backend technologies with intelligent applications in embedded and real-time environments bringing the AI systems into operational use.

Tasks

• You will design and implement scalable backend and API architectures (e.g. REST gRPC).
• You will develop complex data-intensive applications using modern C frameworks and ensure performance and stability.
• You will be responsible for designing the data architecture modeling data structures and managing SQL and NoSQL databases.
• You will have end-to-end responsibility for the entire technology stack and make technical decisions.
• You will support the team as a technical contact person share your knowledge and promote best practices in software design and clean code.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of developing edge applications with C
• Several years of experience in the architecture and development of distributed cloud- systems (Docker Kubernetes)
• Ideally experience in development with a modern backend such as Python or Go
• Fluent English and ideally also German skills
