Hybrid two weeks onsite a month in Westlake TX

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful microservices.
• Build, test, and release product features in an agile delivery model.
• Contribute to product roadmap and technical strategy discussions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.
• Develop ETL workflows and support data movement initiatives.
• Create and maintain test automation, unit tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure QA readiness.
• Support implementation of initiatives across multiple project phases.
• Collaborate effectively with technical leads, team members, and cross-functional partners.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing Java applications and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins jobs.
• Database experience with Oracle, including understanding of stored procedures.
• Experience with data movement technologies such as ETL/ELT and messaging (ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Exposure to either OBIEE/OAS reporting, Camunda BPM, or Oracle / PL-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexing, et cetera)
• Experience working in an agile environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ETL workflows (either Informatica / equivalent tool to develop ETL workflows with either Python, Shell, or Java/Spring Batch frameworks
• Willingness to perform testing activities as part of the development workflow ().

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Azure certification ().
• AWS certification ().
