Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite, mandatory)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software development and a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Neo4j/Cypher, and SQL databases, with experience working in Agile environments and modern cloud-based development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services.
• Build backend solutions using Python and Node.js.
• Develop frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize graph database solutions using Neo4j and Cypher.
• Work with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and application performance improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Python
• TypeScript, Node.js, Angular
• Neo4j and Cypher
• SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Skills

• COBOL or Mainframe experience
• LLM/RAG experience
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Java

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field , or equivalent experience.

Pay Range Minimum: $108,000

Pay Range Maximum: $168,000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
