Our client is InSearch of a Senior Software Development Engineer. Play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high‐quality backend applications. You will collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals and user needs. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building dependable software.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Full time - Onsite in Omaha 100%

Pay 100k-120k dependent on experience and fit to the role

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend software applications.
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform coding, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases while leading peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development
• 2+ years of experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming
• 2+ years working with SQL databases
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• 2+ years working in Agile environments
• 4+ years of an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience
• Experience supporting large‐scale or enterprise environments is a plus
