Title: Senior Data EngineerSalary: Up to £60,000Location: Remote (UK Only)Are you an experienced Data Engineer ready to take the lead on large-scale, complex projects?If soOur client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a forward-thinking, data-driven organisation where you'll play a key role in shaping strategy, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality data solutions.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on hands-on technical leadership, enjoys problem-solving at scale, and has a passion for building reliable, cutting-edge data products in both cloud and on-prem environments.What You'll Be DoingProviding technical leadership and setting the standard for coding, architecture, and performance.Designing, developing, and optimising robust data pipelines and infrastructure in Azure & Hadoop/HDFSLeading by example - writing high-quality code, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring less experienced engineers.Owning the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering cost-effective, scalable solutions.Championing best practices in automation, optimisation, and continuous improvement.Collaborating with stakeholders across teams to deliver impactful solutions.About You :You're a hands-on, technically strong Data Engineer with the ability to balance strategic thinking with delivery.
