This developer is recognised for its high-quality standards and strong pipeline of work, delivering new homes that meet exacting customer expectations.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Senior Site Manager is responsible for overseeing all site operations to deliver new homes safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. This role requires managing resources, coordinating contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

The post holder leads the site team, drives continuous improvement, and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPlan, organise and supervise the day-to-day site activities to meet project milestones and budgets.\nManage and monitor subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and company standards.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, leading regular site inspections and risk assessments.\nMaintain effective communication with clients, design teams, and internal departments to resolve issues promptly.\nOversee quality control processes to ensure work meets specified standards and customer expectations.\nPrepare and submit accurate progress reports, site diaries, and other documentation as required.\nLead and motivate site teams, fostering a positive working environment and promoting best practises.\nManage site logistics including materials, plant, and workforce to optimise efficiency.\nIdentify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.\nEnsure environmental considerations are incorporated into site activities in line with company policies.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nSite Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate\nConstruction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or equivalent\nFirst Aid at Work qualification\nNational Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nProven experience as a Site Manager within the house building sector, preferably with new homes developments\nDemonstrable track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential construction projects\nStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations\nExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on site\n\nKnowledge and Skills\n\nFull valid driving licence\nExcellent organisational and planning skills\nStrong communication and leadership abilities\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications\nSound knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practises\nCompetent in site management software and Microsoft Office applications\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nPrimarily site-based role with occasional office attendance\nFull-time hours with flexibility to meet project demands, including occasional early starts or late finishes\nWork involves exposure to varying weather conditions and site environments\nUse of personal protective equipment is mandatory in line with site rules\nIf you are interested in hearing more, please apply and Chloe will drop you a call
