Senior Site Manager – Fit-Out Project\n\nLocation: Oxford\n\nContract Type: Freelance \n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nDuration: 20 weeks\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take the lead on a high-quality fit-out project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, and health & safety standards.\n\nCoordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.\n\nOversee site logistics, sequencing, and progress reporting.\n\nLiaise with clients, consultants, and the project team to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly.\n\nEnsure all fit-out works are completed to specification and in line with design intent.\n\nMonitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nProven track record as a Senior Site Manager on commercial, education, or high-spec fit-out projects.\n\nStrong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, including finishes, MEP coordination, and sequencing.\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\nSMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications required.\n\nAbility to work to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
