Vacancy Summary\n\nJob Title: Senior Site Manager \n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nJob Ref: #1274\n\nLocation: Cambridge\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nSalary: c£60k-£65k basic plus competitive package inc car or allowance, healthcare, pension, bonus. \n\nCompany & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment are working with a successful Main Contractor in Cambridge who are currently recruiting for an ambitious Senior Site Manager to join their business working on a c£50m+ project in the the centre of Cambridge. \n\nThe business has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Site Manager to join the business working on large scheme, working across multiple phases which includes external packages and brickwork facade.
\n\nThe business is recognised for its employee focus and long-term stable history, with many of the senior management and employees working for the business for many years.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities: The successful Senior Site Manager will take responsibility for managing all site management functions across key packages on the project: from health & safety, short term programming and progress monitoring for subcontractors, and delivering a quality build with low defects.\n\nExcellent communication skills are essential at this business, as the Site Manager will be expected to liaise with the client and long-term suppliers, as well as act as a mentor to junior members of the team.\n\nDue to the size of the project and the responsibility needed, the business is looking for a professional with experience working for a Main Contractor in a comparable position. \n\nDesirable Experience:\n\n- Previously held a Site Manager or Package Manager position with a Main Contractor on projects c£20m+ in value.\n- Exceptional track record for delivering sites on time and to a high standard of finish.\n- Previous experience managing externals packages would be advantageous. \n- Excellent communication skills.
