Senior Simulation Engineer - Systems Engineering\n\nNewton Colmore is working with an instrumentation manufacturer in Cambridge, and we are assisting them in their search for a senior simulation engineer.\n\nThis is an exciting period of growth for this company, that work on several different product lines, from state-of-the-art airport scanning technology to top secret RADAR systems.\n\nYou will be aiming to build and test physics-based models at the edge of what's possible\n\nWhat you will be doing.\n\nYou will model and analyse complex systems using MATLAB/Simulink, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and designers. This isn't incremental work - you'll be applying deep engineering fundamentals to problems that directly impact people's lives.\n\nWhat you can bring.\n\nYou will need to have strong domain knowledge of MATALB and Simulink, ideally applied to systems engineering. This will need to include physics-based modelling and model-based systems engineering, with test bench development and code revision.\n\nYou will need to be naturally curious, adaptable, and any knowledge of signal processing or Simulink HDL would be highly desirable.\n\nWhy this role\n\nThe company offer an environment that promotes pushing the boundaries of what is possible and trust their people to do great work.
