About This Role\n

Join our Information Security organization, where we protect a technology-led, cloud- platform serving millions of customers across multiple markets. We’re building security into the very foundations of how we design, engineer, and operate our platforms at scale.

\n

As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of our Security Engineering team, crafting the tools, guardrails, and controls that empower every engineer at JET to ship secure code over 100 times a day. You’ll transform security policy into code and cultivate a security-conscious culture among our engineers.

Your Key Responsibilities\n

• \n

  Design, build, and deploy security controls and guardrails across JET's cloud- platforms, including AI security solutions for customer-facing products.

\n

• \n

  Conduct password audits, network and web application vulnerability scans, and intrusion detection to proactively identify and close security gaps.

\n

• \n

  Automate security processes as code, embedding compliance and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) checks into our CI/CD pipelines.

\n

• \n

  Perform risk audits and assessments, translating findings into actionable recommendations for engineering teams.

\n

• \n

  Monitor and analyze system access logs, flagging anomalies and supporting incident response efforts.

\n

• \n

  Plan and test security backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure the resilience of JET's platforms.

\n

• \n

  Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line InfoSec teams, translating technical work for product and engineering audiences.

\n

What Will You Bring to the Team?\n

• \n

  Practical experience in writing and deploying applications or tooling in cloud- environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

\n

• \n

  Strong skills in deploying AI security solutions and defenses for customer-facing AI systems.

\n

• \n

  Proficiency in at least one programming (C#, Python, Java, PowerShell, or Bash) with a track record of automating security processes.

\n

• \n

  Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Compliance as Code practices.

\n

• \n

  Comfort operating in Agile, DevOps-driven teams with a focus on continuous delivery.

\n

• \n

  Confident stakeholder management skills, translating security risks and technical decisions into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.

\n

• \n

  A collaborative mindset, building trust so others choose secure defaults rather than having security imposed on them.

\n
