Senior Security EngineerOnsite in Bracknell & the SouthEligible for DV clearance£60-70k per annum + benefits packageWe are recruiting for a Senior Security Engineer to join a specialist cyber security programme supporting a highly secure and business-critical environment.This is a hands-on technical role that would suit an infrastructure, security, systems or application engineer looking to develop further into architecture. You'll work across the full lifecycle of solutions, from design and implementation through to support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.The role sits within a collaborative team of architects, engineers and support specialists delivering secure gateway technologies and associated infrastructure services.What You'll Be DoingSupporting the design, implementation and ongoing enhancement of secure gateway solutionsProducing technical designs and documentation for customer-driven change requestsWorking closely with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads and operational support teamsSupporting service availability, resilience and security improvementsTroubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issuesAssisting SOC and 3rd Line teams with incident investigation and resolutionManaging and maintaining directory services, messaging systems and gateway technologiesCreating scripts and automation to improve operational efficiencySupporting the full change lifecycle from design through deployment and supportKey Technical SkillsWe're particularly interested in candidates with experience in several of the following areas:Infrastructure & PlatformsVMware vSphereWindows ServerRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Active DirectoryDNSGroup Policy (GPO)Remote Desktop Services (RDS)SecurityTrellix / McAfee technologiesSIEM platformsSyslog reporting and integrationAntivirus technologiesTLS certificates and PKI conceptsSecure gateway technologiesLinux & ScriptingLinux administrationShell scriptingRegular Expressions (Regex)Firewall configuration and managementDirectories & MessagingLDAP directory servicesLDIFEmail protocols and standardsChat and messaging technologies (XMPP desirable)Data & IntegrationXMLJSON schemaFile format validation and analysisWeb protocolsIf you are interested in discussing this Security Design Engineer role further, apply now or send your CV to me atTPBN1_UKTJ
