Job Description
Senior Safety and Compliance Operations Officer - Fire\nBased in Wembley \nPermanent \nPaying up to £52K depending on experience \n\nThe role will support the Safety and Compliance Specialist - Fire and wider Building Safety and Compliance team on all fire safety matters \n\nUtilise technical expertise, experience in passive and active fire measures, in depth practical knowledge of fire risk assessments and risk mitigation's. \n\nResponsibilities include\n\nPromote a positive collaborative culture of building safety and compliance\nWork across the Building Safety and Compliance team with an emphasis on fire safety elements\nResponsible to deliver the right outcome for our customer in a safe and timely way\nProactively identify any upcoming changes in legislation's, regulations and landlord responsibilities to ensure SNG compliance\nReview the design of new builds as presented by our development team to ensure that it is suitable and sufficient in line with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) plan of works\nProvide technical support across to the fire safety team on passive and active fire installationsWe are looking for someone who has\n\nExperience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nUp to date knowledge of fire safety legislation\nDemonstrable knowledge and experience of fire safety subject matters within the Housing SectorQualifications and experience\n\nMembership of the IFE / IFSM or an equivalent membership body\nUp to date knowledge of fire safety legislation and building regulations\nLevel 4 qualification in Fire Safety\nAward in Practical Fire Risk Assessment such as IFE of CS Todd\nKnowledge of methods to monitor the quality of data and identify issues (e.g. reconciliations)
