Senior Renewable Energy Underwriter

London/Hybrid

We’re partnered with a dynamic and ambitious MGA in the early stages of growth, focused on delivering innovative and tailored insurance solutions for the renewable energy sector. Backed by strong capacity and a forward-thinking leadership team.

The Role:

Seeking a seasoned Senior Underwriter with a proven track record in the renewable energy insurance market. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing MGA and play a key role in shaping their underwriting strategy, broker relationships, and portfolio development across technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite renewable energy risks in line with company guidelines and appetite.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other market stakeholders.
• Support the growth of the renewable energy portfolio through strategic insights and market intelligence.
• Contribute to product innovation and risk modelling for emerging technologies.

What They're Looking For:

• Minimum 10 years of underwriting experience, ideally within renewable energy
• Strong broker network and market presence in the clean energy space.
• Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, project lifecycle risks, and insurance solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
