Senior / Project Quantity Surveyor – MEP Contractor

Oxford (4 days on site, 1 day remote/office)

£65,000–£100,000 + bonus

£20m Mechanical Package | Pharmaceuticals

The Role

As a Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of a £20m Mechanical Package on a pharmaceutical development in Oxford. You’ll represent the company with commercial excellence and lead the full lifecycle of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end commercial delivery: procurement through to final account
• Lead commercial conversations and resolve issues
• Manage contracts: payments, notices, variations
• Produce financial reporting: CVRs, client reports, variation accounts
• Mentor and support Junior Quantity Surveyors
• Build strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders
• Pass all background checks - high security site

What We’re Looking For

• Forward-thinking, relationship-focused professional
• Commercially astute with experience managing CVRs, subcontractor accounts, and project close-outs
• Mechanical & Electrical knowledge (contractor/subcontractor background ideal)
• Independent worker with tailored support available
• Experience in pharmaceuticals or technical projects (advantageous, not essential)
• Organised team player, driven by continuous improvement
• Enjoys mentoring junior staff
