Job Title-Senior Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation- Newcastle\n\nSalary-£70,000\n\nAre you a senior quantity surveyor that has reached a ceiling with your current employer?\n\nAre you looking for a fresh new challenge?\n\nWe are working with a house builder who are looking for a senior quantity surveyor to join their North East team, with projects from Northallerton up to Northumberland.\n\nYou will be joining an already established team with a strong client base and plentiful pipeline, with projects being supported by assistant and trainee QS'\n\nAs senior quantity surveyor, you will;\n\nManage and advise on the financial and contractual aspect of multiple, larg scale projects\nProvide line management and support to assistant/trainee surveyors\nManage CVRs\nBe a regular figure on site, growing client relationships with regular contract reviews\nProvide regular cost reports and manage subcontractor costsAs senior quantity surveyor, it is required that you;\n\nHold a HNC/HND in quantity surveying or equivalent \nHave a proven record as a senior quantity surveyor within residential house building\nHave a methodical approach when it comes to contract negotiation and pricing\nHave previously managed/led a small team of assistant surveyorsAs a senior quantity surveyor, you will receive;\n\nUp to £70,000 salary\n£5,500 car allowance or salary sacrifice scheme\nDiscretionary bonus\nPension\nLife assurance\nPrivate medical plusIf this looks like the new challenge you have been looking for, then we'd love to hear from you
