Quantity Surveyor – Aviation Projects (Major UK Airports)

Location: London / South East / Hybrid ( Travel May Be Required)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits



Flagship Consulting is working in partnership with a leading global construction consultancy to recruit experienced Quantity Surveyors to work on high-profile aviation projects across the UK.



Our client is delivering major capital works and infrastructure programmes for several of the UK’s largest and busiest airports, supporting complex upgrades, terminal redevelopments, and expansion schemes. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved in the aviation sector at a time of major investment and transformation.



The Role:



As a Quantity Surveyor within the Aviation team, you will provide full commercial support on a range of projects across terminals, airfields, and support infrastructure. You’ll be working with key airport stakeholders, navigating live operational environments, and applying your commercial expertise within a fast-paced, safety-critical sector.



Key Responsibilities:



Deliver cost management services across the full project lifecycle



Manage pre- and post-contract duties, including procurement, change control, and final accounts



Administer NEC or other relevant contracts



Liaise with client teams, contractors, and consultants



Provide accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis



Requirements:



Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within infrastructure or complex construction environments



Previous experience on aviation or live operational sites is advantageous



Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)



Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field



MRICS or working towards chartership



Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
