Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Southwest Region £up to £100,000 (PAYE or Ltd Company Status)

Senior Quantity Surveyor required to head up the commercial management of various projects from a civil engineering / groundwork’s perspective. Working on behalf of a very well established and respected groundwork's business an experienced senior quantity surveyor is required to manage a turnover of around £15m p.a and work with long standing relationships with blue chip main contractors.



You must have experience of NEC option B form of contract and be able to commute to project locations to undertake typical Senior Quantity Surveying duties.



Workload – Scope of Works:

• Long term work is guaranteed; projects have many years to run and offer repeat government work in the South West region

• Multiple Projects located across the South West region

• Nec option B form of contracts typically in use

• Project values: £3 - £10m each (subcontract package values)



Types of Work:

• Large building foundations

• Deep and shallow drainage

• Any retaining concrete structures

• Attenuation tanks

• Hard and soft landscaping

• Basements

• Roads, kerbs, infrastructure



Project locations: South West England



Typical Duties:

• Site / Project commercial management

• Valuations

• Variations

• Measurements

• Notification of extra’s added to the contract

• Negotiation

• Client relationship management long term
